Chaman Bhartiya School Showcases Excellence on Founder's Day

Bangalore, [10th January 2025] – Chaman Bhartiya School celebrated its inaugural Founder's Day on 9th January with a blend of innovation, creativity, and heartfelt community participation. The campus situated in the sprawling urban-living space of Bhartiya City, buzzed with excitement as students, parents, faculty, and distinguished guests came together to honor the school’s journey of excellence and leadership.

The day commenced with a warm and gracious welcome by Ms. Parushni Aggarwal, Vice Chair of Chaman Bhartiya School, setting an uplifting tone for the celebrations. A highlight of the event was the unveiling of a newly installed bust of Late Sri. Chaman Aggarwal, a visionary and the father of Mr. Snehdeep Aggarwal, Founder and Chairman of the Bhartiya Group. The bust was unveiled by Mr. Snehdeep Aggarwal in a heartfelt tribute to his father and to inspire the future generations to become visionary leaders. This poignant moment served as a testament to the school’s deep gratitude and respect for Late Sri. Chaman Aggarwal, honoring his enduring contributions and visionary ideals that form the foundation of the institution.

Mr. Snehdeep Aggarwal said, “Schools last for generations, and at Chaman Bhartiya School, we teach values that stay forever. We want our students to be brave, make mistakes, and learn from them. Leadership is about taking risks, and we encourage our students to be the unique 2% in the world who create change and make new worlds. This tribute to my father, who embodied these values, is a reminder of the legacy we aim to uphold". He further added, “Our minds are our greatest strength, even as robots take over many tasks. The focus at our school is on using our minds to create wealth for the community. While robots can’t be spiritual, humans can, and that makes us unique.”

The event perfectly embodied Chaman Bhartiya School’s motto, ‘We Lead,’ through a series of dynamic and engaging activities. The celebrations highlighted the remarkable talents of Chaman Bhartiya School’s students, featuring a captivating whistle-blowing performance by Svara Menon, an engaging mime act, and a heartfelt musical medley by Krishnadiya, a gifted young artist and proud member of the school community. The parents joined in with their own delightful performances as well, making it a truly inclusive celebration.

Adding to the excitement, the audience was treated to a spectacular display of drone acrobatics. The school also celebrated the remarkable achievements of Laksh Pandey from Grade 9 and Aiyanah Sunu from Grade 10 (MYP 5), who successfully built their first RPA (Remotely Piloted Aircraft) drone in-house at Chaman Bhartiya School’s Innovation Lab. Through this project, the students gained valuable hands-on experience in aerodynamic concepts and flying mechanisms. In particular, Aiyanah Sunu has completed an impressive 14 hours of drone pilot training and is now a certified drone pilot. The event highlighted the students’ dedication, innovation, and hard work, with their achievements receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Dr. Arindam Das, Director at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design & Technology and one of the visionaries part of the function said, "Chaman Bhartiya School has built a legacy of fostering creativity, leadership, and integrity among its students. What stands out is the school’s dedication to shaping young minds who are not just prepared for the future but are empowered to lead it. The students here are being equipped with the tools and mindset to drive innovation, challenge conventions, and become the transformative leaders of tomorrow.”

"Education is about more than just what happens in the classroom; 75% of our learning comes from life experiences with friends, family, and the world around us. Surviving COVID has shown that humans have the resilience to overcome any obstacle. At Chaman Bhartiya School, this holistic approach to education is at the core of what they do. Teachers, parents, and the community are not just guides; they are the architects of a brighter, more resilient future. Together, we have the power to nurture a generation that thrives in any circumstance and turns challenges into stepping stones for success." - Mr. Bijou Kurien, Former Director of Titan Co. Ltd.

Having recently received their International Baccalaureate authorization, Chaman Bhartiya School's philosophy is rooted in the belief that education is not just about imparting knowledge, but about nurturing the potential within each student to become a leader, a critical thinker, and a compassionate global citizen. The school is dedicated to fostering a learning environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence. Students are constantly challenged to push boundaries and engage with the world in new and impactful ways.

This innovative spirit is evident in student projects like pioneering robotics, a CanSat satellite, agridrone to aid farmers in  spraying insecticide, smart blind stick with ultrasonic sensors, and a Jal Chakran water roller designed to carry 45 litres of water without being a burden. These projects reflect the school’s commitment to hands-on learning and problem-solving, empowering students to lead and create meaningful change.
